Graphite Study of Roses

I recently completed a group of drawings from the same bouquet of roses. I completed all pictures in graphite.  I began with an approach to capture a realistic image. I then completed a quick gestural approach with block graphite, followed by a contour line approach and completed the series by combining all techniques.  You can view these drawings on my Graphite Drawing page.
